Thanks Art. I am looking for the strainers but don,t know where to look. I removed a 1" bolt on the right side of the transmission but no strainer. Please help. My kubota book does not tell me where to look. Thanks Dan

I have a 1992 B7100 (HST). I just got a gearmore pallet attachment for my three point hitch and was trying to lift a pallet of brick pavers (400 pieces about 800 lb.) without much success. It lifts my 48" box scraper ok. Can anyone tell me what the lift capacity is? The hydraulic fluid is ok.

Paul, I have a 1991 B7100 HST. There is an adjustment bolt under your seat. Turn it clockwise to decrease the drop rate and counterclockwise to increase. Maybe it is the other way. The complete instruction is in the operators manual. Hope this help. Dan

Richard, The resistor should be easy to obtain. Go to a well stablished (old and been in business for years) auto parts store and ask for a voltage dropping resistor. Cost about $5.00. You can also change the sealed beam with another rated for 12 volts at about $5.00. For example, the accessory pistol grip lamp that you insert into the cigarette lighter socket is 12 volts. If the diameter needs to be larger, asked for a replacement lamp for a four lamp headlight system like for a 1959 Chevrolet. I believe the number is 4001 for low beam and 4002 for high beam. Try 4411. Take the lamp with you to the auto part store and match for size. Hooking it up with two 6 volt lamps or with a resistor in lieu of the second 6 volt lamp is identical. Positive terminal to positive battery, negative lamp to positive lamp or resistor, negative resistor or lamp to negative battery or chassis (ground). Gook luck

If I operate my tractor on a slope of about 8% grade up or downhill, should I be concerned about loosing oil pressure? Does anyone know where the oil pickup tube is located? I mean is it forward, center or towards the rear of the crankcase? I have a oil light and I am considering installing an oil gauge. What should the oil pressure be? Thank you all in advance.

Hi, I just bought a B7100HST-D with Kubota 1630 loader and 633.0 hours in San Diego, California for $6500.00. The price seems to be right for San Diego because good, used tractors are hard to find. Shop around a little more, Michigan market (supply and demand) may be different. Also try and get one with loader ($2800.00 option). Other implements are no problem to add later. Good luck.
